Agia Fotini (also known as Agia Fotia among the locals) beach is one of the preferable beaches in Chios island to locals and to foreigners. Is located 10 km away from Chios town and just few minutes drive from Thimiana village and the famous Karfas area. The pebbled beach with the clean crystal blue Aegean waters is the ideal scenery for swimming, relaxing and enjoyment.
The village surrounding the beach is still far away from the so-called tourism development yet offers plenty of rooms to let, few taverns to enjoy delicious luncheons or dinner and some bars to have quality time drinking Mastiha liqueuor and admiring the view of Aegean Sea.
It’s a quite area most of the days even if during the peak season (mid July – Mid August and especially during weekends where locals are heading to this area to spend time with friends and family) is a bit crowed and parking is not that easy, still Agia Fotini is a perfect place to stay and to unveil islands secrets.
