We would like to introduce RealChios.gr, a project aiming to unveil Chios Island of Greece as an alternative destination for travelers worldwide.
Chios with its unique landscapes, breathtaking beaches, historical villages, welcoming and friendly inhabitants sets the perfect scenery for alternative vacations and memorable experiences.
Chios hosts an UNESCO’s World heritage site named Nea Moni Monastery from 11 century and is the only island in the world producing Mastiha, cultivation of which has been listed as UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage to humanity.
RealChios.gr covers almost all aspects of traveling to Chios and suggests several alternative activities (cooking lessons, hiking and biking tours, culinary journeys to name some of them) on the island. We strongly believe that an experience could last much more longer than any other item, thus we would like to suggest you to give it a try!
On our website you can explore things to do and to see, hotels, mansions, rooms and apartments for accommodation, suggestions and itineraries for various activities and fun.
We will be more than happy, real traveller - potential visitor of Chios Island Greece - to answer any question you may have and to provide information and itineraries for activities and many more.
You are invited to experience RealChios, an alternative Ecotourism Hotspot.
Since you are here…
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading the RealChios page than ever but far fewer are paying for it. And advertising revenues across the media are falling fast, even faster for pages that promoting destinations such as our Chios. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. RealChios’s independent, going-through advises and presentations take a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in our cause -–because it might well be your cause, too.
If everyone who reads our guide, who like it, helps to contribute for it, our future would be much more secure. Doesn’t matter the amount, most important is the action. Even small contribution counts.
